  • Notes - An iron-head ax (pin-nang), used by Bontoc men as a weapon. The blade is .3 cm. thick, and white vertical and diagonal incisions adorn the wooden handle. Bontoc warriors use thier axes for close-range battle, after discharging their spears (Jenks, The Bontoc Igorot, 179).
