| General Note |
- General note - This close-up shows the details of the hemp embroidery on the prince's headpiece and sleeves (see PE00248 and PE00249). The appliques on the sleeves have been used by the Buntas family for the last 80 years. The woven figures in Mandaya decorative art are derived from designs representing animal and human forms, the most common of which simulate the figure of a man or a crocodile.
