| Notes |
- Notes - The Banco Español-Filipino de Isabel II, now known as the Bank of the Philippine Islands, was established on August 1, 1851, following a royal order decreeing the foundation of a public bank. The bank's express aim was to encourage the use of savings for commercial purposes. It was originally housed at the Royal Customs House in Intramuros until in 1862, the bank moved to its own building on the corner of Cabildo and Victoria Streets (shown in photo).
