| Notes |
- Notes - The houses in Vigan are classic examples of the bahay na bato, a strongly-built house made of stone and wood, developed during the Spanish period. Large capiz windows with ventanillas underneath keep the house cool and well-lighted. In the old days, these plastered stone houses were often whitewashed.
