Notes	Notes - Constructed by Luna de San Pedro-Cortez and Associates, the Luis Perez-Samanillo building was the first building on the northwest end of Escolta, Manila. It was recognized as the best commercial building in an architecture competition in 1928. With its entrance facing Escolta, it occupied an area almost coinciding with the entire street block.
