- Title - Sebastian del Cano
|
| Notes |
- Notes - Sebastian del Cano was the commander of the ship Victoria, which sailed back to Spain after Ferdinand Magellan was killed in the Battle of Mactan on April 27, 1521. The ship and the eighteen men on board were all that remained of the Magellan expedition, which was responsible for the discovery of the Philippines by Spain, yet they made history for completing the first circumnavigation of the world.
