| Title |
- Title - Damian Domingo: A commissioned soldier. 1820.
|
| Notes |
- Notes - This commissioned soldier may have been a former outlaw or bandit tasked to go after other outlaws. He is in uniform, but barefoot. The anti-robbery squad and the Tercios de Guardia Civil hunted down brigands in the provinces, and the Guardia Civil Veterana kept the peace in Manila. (See Nick Joaquin and Luciano P.R. Santiago, The World of Damian Domingo: Nineteenth Century Manila, 1990, 62).
