General Note
  • General note - Obando is a small town in Bulacan situated on the banks of the Angat River. Here, on May 17, 18 and 19, a fiesta is held to honor its three patron saints - Santa Clara, San Pascual Baylon and Our Lady of Salambao. What makes this fiesta unique is the dance performed by childless couples in the streets during the procession. Devotees believe that in joining the dance, a couple's wish to have a child or a woman's hope for easy childbirth will be granted.
