Title Statement
  • Title - Religious procession
General Note
  • General note - Religious processions are said to be the pride and passion of the Filipinos. Old families take out prized icons of saints, dress them in vivid robes with gold embroidery, and mount them on carrozas or floats brilliant with lamps and flowers. On great festivals, this activity which is basically a prayer march, brings together prodigious crowds, both as actors and spectators.
