General Note
  • General note - The cult of Our Lady of Guadalupe started in Mexico, after the Virgin apppeared to Juan Diego on a hill just outside Mexico City. In 1601, the Augustinians built a sanctuary in Makati which they later dedicated to this image. Devotees celebrate her feast every December 12.
