- General note - This statue of the Blessed Virgin is among the first images of Our Lady in Manila, brought by the Augustinian priest Juan de Guevarra from Spain. She became the Titular Patroness of the church in Malate where she is invoked for safe delivery at child birth. Devotees celebrate her feast day on the third Sunday of November.
