General Note
  • General note - Our Lady of Antipolo is also known as Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, whose image is enshrined in the church of Antipolo. It is believed that while the image was aboard the Spanish galleon Almirante, the miraculous powers of the Virgin kept the galleon's journey safe from treacherous storms and pirates at sea. Because of this, the Virgin has since been named as the patron travelers and seafarers. (Source: Filipino Rites and Rituals, Philippine Appliance Corp., 1974) YYY
