- General note - The La Naval procession held every 12th of October is a tradition devotedly adhered to by the people in honor of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. It is a tribute to this miraculous image which was believed to have saved the Filipino and Spanish forces in the naval battle against the Dutch who attempted to invade the Philippines.The Virgin of La Naval is currently enshrined in Sto.
