- General note - Devotees carry a picture of the Divino Rostro or the Our Lady of Sorrows holding a cloth with the face of Christ imprinted on it. In 1882, after Luzon was stricken with a cholera epidemic, Bishop Casimiro Herrero, O.S.A. ordered that the picture be enshrined at the Naga Cathedral. Since then, it was carried in processions along with the Virgin of Penafrancia. (also see CE01294) YYY
