General Note
  • General note - The Carabao festival in Pulilan is a colorful celebration of the feast of San Isidro de Labrador, known as the patron saint of the Filipino farmer. On this day, the town also gives honor to the beast of burden in the fields - the carabao. A procession of colorfully-dressed carabao carts takes place, which ends at the town square where they are blessed and the most beautiful and best-trained carabaos are awarded prizes.
