| Summary, Etc. |
- Summary, etc. - Col. Braly was Operations Officer of Harbor Defense headquarters in Corregidor during the Philippine defense campaign. This book is a detailed personal account which begins with the surrender on Corregidor. As a senior officer, Braly received slightly better treatment as a prisoner of war, together with Gen. Jonathan Wainwright and other generals and colonels. In Camp O'Donnell briefly, Braly and the other officers were shipped to Taiwan in August 1942, and later to Manchuria (the camp was liberated in 1945 by the Russians). Appendices include partial lists of POWs in Camp O'Donnell, Taiwan and Manchuria. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
