Summary, Etc.
  • Summary, etc. - Knox, a TV documentary producer and director, tells the story of the Bataan campaign, the Death March and prison camp life under the Japanese in the words of the survivors themselves. Over a period of seven years, he interviewed over 200 veterans; the voices of sixty-eight were selected to provide the personal side of the horrors and heroism experienced in these events. The interviewees, all American, are mostly enlisted men; however, a few officers and nurses also tell their story. There was unfortunately, no Filipino interviewed. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
