| Summary, Etc. |
- Summary, etc. - A detailed and objective chronicle of the American, British and other civilian internees in Baguio's Camp Holmes from December 1941 to December 1944, the land trip through Central Luzon to Manila, and the final weeks in Bilibid Prison. The author was one of the internees but avoids writing in the first person, giving a more collective, rather one person's account of life in camp. Details daily routine, food rations, interactions with the Japanese, news from the outside. Chronologically written, careful, and providing much basic information. A roster of all internees in Camp Holmes is appended, as well as a list of births and deaths. Basic source book for the Baguio internees. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
