- Summary, etc. - Compilation of humorous cartoons sketched by the author (then a teenager) depicting life in Santo Tomas Internment Camp, covering the January 1942 through December 1944. These were presented to the author's mother as a Christmas gift and morale booster. They depict work details, entertainment, daily life, camp administration, individual internees, and others, all done originally in pencil. Fifty years later, the faded originals were scanned and enhanced to produce this book, annotated with quotes from some Santo Tomas histories and memoirs to give more background information on particular sketches. - Prof. Ricardo T.
