The author was himself a member of the guerrilla movement and is a local historian of the island. He describes the organization of the outfit (including the difficulty of uniting the different groups which initially sprouted), its operations, links with other islands, supply and printing of money, guerrilla excesses, Japanese counterattacks, and others.
