| Summary, Etc. |
- Summary, etc. - Biography of an American missionary couple who arrived in Manila in 1907. The author, daughter of the Wolfes, writes about her parents experiences in the Philippines from the time they arrived, preaching the gospel in Laguna, through the war and until the death of Leslie Wolfe in 1952. The couple was interned in Santo Tomas, allowed to live outside the camp since they were foreigner missionaries. The two faced many difficulties in living outside camp under Japanese rule, and were reinterned in mid-1944. Leslie's internment diary (from January to February 24, 1945) is printed to tell the liberation saga firsthand. On the cover: "Missionaries for Christ - the Philippine Islands for More than Forty Years." - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
