Summary, Etc.
  • Summary, etc. - "...diary written in Iwahig in 1945 where [he] was incarcerated by the U.S. military because he was part of the provisionary government during the Japanese occupation. The diary begins with the time he was taken from Tubao by the Americans, and ends on the day he was freed on bail to face trial. In the diary, not only did he write about the day-to-day life in Iwahig Penal Colony, but he also wrote character sketches of his fellow inmates, about his childhood, his days in Yale and Indiana University, his accomplishments and visions for the future of his country."
