| Summary, Etc. |
- Summary, etc. - Autobiography of a British woman who was born in China, educated in England, and worked in Hong Kong prior to World War II. When the Japanese took over the British colony, she was interned along with other British nationals. She describes her ordeals in detail.
Of relevance to the Philippines since a daughter, Patricia, was in the Philippines and was interned in Baguio. The book cites two letters from Patricia describing conditions in internment camp in 1943, and also conditions in the Philippines in 1945. (The letters are in pp. 135-140) - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
