A devout Baptist, Robinson's memoir reflects his deep religious belief. He narrates his experiences during the bombing of Clark Field, the Bataan campaign, the Death March, his ordeal in Camp O'Donnell, Cabanatuan, prison ship to Japan and Niigata, Japan.
