- Summary, etc. - A compilation of odds and ends, some very interesting: a general account of the forces which defended the Philippines, Guam and Wake, as well as a summary of the defense campaigns, interspersed with first-person accounts and stories (from various perspectives), followed by a compendium of biographical briefs of several of the American (and occasional Filipino) defenders. The editors were themselves veterans of the Philippine defense campaign.
Profusely illustrated with maps and photographs, including some of post-war reunions of the veterans. Also contains a roster of American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
