Summary, Etc.
  • Summary, etc. - Fr. Henaghan was an Irish priest, a member of the Columban fathers, who practiced his vocation in Manila. A respected priest, he helped the poor. Ireland was neutral during the war and thus Fr. Henaghan was not interned. But he was taken by the Japanese on February 10, 1945, marched through the streets, and was never seen again. This book is a compilation of his pre-war religious writings on faith and perseverance. The book's introduction briefly tells of his activities in the Philippines and his untimely end. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
