- Summary, etc. - Reprinting of two documents on the US Army Forces in the Philippines, North Luzon (USAFIP NL): the USAFIP NL After Battle Report (which had already been reprinted twice by Col. Ancheta) and USAFIP NL General Orders No. 6, a listing of the casualties of USAFIP NL through the war (also published twice before). The first part of the book is a chronology ("almanac" in this book) of Philippine history from 1936 and World War II (including Europe; 1944 and 1945 focusing more on activities in Northern Luzon). Unfortunately the compilers (all World War II veterans) did not write about their own experiences. This volume was published separately from the six-volume series published by the Veterans Federation of the Philippines, hence repetition of the USAFIP NL documents. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
