  • Summary, etc. - A Master of Arts thesis (Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania) centered on Battery F, 200th Coast Artillery Regiment (Anti-aircraft), which was mustered from reservists from New Mexico. The battery (and the regiment) arrived in Manila shortly before the outbreak of war, and was at Clark Field where it saw its baptism of fire on the first day of the war. The author details the operations of the unit and the experiences of its men in the defense of Bataan and as prisoners of war.
