Primarily a record of sorties flown and results reported. (Edited, Reproduced, 71 pages)." Dated 1 February 1952, this monograph was based on recollections and papers of ex-Col Monjiro Akiyama, former staff officer (air section) of the 14th Army, and ex-Col. Susumu Ishikawa, senior staff officer (operations) of the 5th Air Group. The 5th Air Group was the Japanese Army Air Force unit attached to the 14th Army to provide air support in the Japanese operations to conquer the Philippines. Tables.
