Subtitle in the title page: "(a sequel to) Captain Francisco Salazar has Fallen (a biography)." The author, a local historian and local government official, details various incidents (creating a civil government, efforts to unify rival groups, operations against the Japanese) and personalities, particularly Lt. Vicente K. Nunag who succeeded Salazar. He cites many letters and documents in full.
