Summary, Etc.
  • Summary, etc. - Account of the author's war experiences, a young woman who married an army officer just prior to the start of the war. A native of Cebu, she recounts (with the aid of the author) the shock at the start of the war, difficulties faced in evading the Japanese and living in the mountains, and trying to keep in touch with her guerrilla husband. She recalls days of hardship, danger and anxiety in this very personal account, weaved in with the account of the author in drawing the story out. - Prof. Ricardo T. Jose
