- Notes - The Blood Compact. Oil on canvas. Malacañang Palace Collection. One of several canvases Luna was supposed to send to Manila from the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, where he was a Manila City Government pensionado. The scene, depicting the pact of friendship between Sikatuna and Legazpi in 1565 through a play of light and shadow, includes the two protagonists, Fray Andres de Urdaneta, and Legazpi's nephew Felipe de Salcedo.
