| General Note |
- General note - The original name given to the town was "Babuyan", meaning a place of many pigs, due to the great number of wild boar which roamed the place before. Later it was changed to "Llana-Hermosa", which means beautiful plain. Hermosa was made a vicariate in May 8, 1756 and was placed under the patronage of Saint Peter. The construction of the church was finished by Father Jose Hevia Campomanes, who was the parish priest from 1864 to 1867. (Source: Bataan: Land of Valor, People of Peace, Fr.
