| General Note |
- General note - A white silk dalmatic, ornately embroidered in gold thread and sequins by local women. Dating back to the 1800s, this is usually worn by a deacon during mass and processions, and by a cardinal, bishop or abbot at a Pontifical mass. It is called a "dalmatic" because it was originally made of dalmatian wool. (also see CH00132) YYY
