- General note - Another parish which originally served as a mission station of Quipayo was Bombon. The town was created in 1749 but it was only in 1848, after a century, that the parish, separate from Quipayo, was established. Its first parish priest, Fray Juan de la Torre, started the construction of the stone church shorn in photo some time in the late 19th century. The task was finished by Fray Jose Ribaya. YYY
