| General Note |
- General note - Calabanga was a former barrio and visita (mission station) of Quipayo until July 15, 1749 when it became an independent town and parish. The first pastor was Fray Jose de la Bastida. The original church, demolished by earthquake in 1811, was replaced in 1840 by another structure with pillars of brick, wooden walls and cogon thatching. Another reconstruction occurred between 1874-97, this time made of adobe stone to improve and enlarge the church. Supervision was handled by Fray Mariano Herrejon. YYY
