- General note - Formerly a barrio of Naga, Camaligan was made a separate town & parish town and parish in 1795. The first parish priest was Fray Rafael de Benavente. Nearly half a century later, in 1842, a church of stone and bricks was constructed through the efforts of Fray Isidro Pons and Juan Ramos. In the photo is brick church which has been preserved through the years, and on the background the atrium walls of red bricks. (See CH00321)
