| General Note |
- General note - Reconstructed church of Canaman and to its right the preserved bell tower of red bricks. The original church was built probably after the establishment of the town and parish in 1599. Preaching of the Gospel, however, started as early as 1578 when Canaman was a mere barrio of Naga. The first parish priest was Fray Pedro Matias, who later became Bishop of Caceres. YYY
