| General Note |
- General note - Facade of the church of Lagonoy ornamented with balustrated pediment and turrets on both sides. Bell tower is connected to the church at the gable. Established in 1734, the parish of Lagonoy had its first church built only after more than three decades (1768). Later this was abandoned for the unpredictable course of the river which cuts through the town threatened to pass through the church patio; besides, the earthquakes of 1811 rendered the church and its adjoining convent useless. The present church, apparently, was built in the early decades of the 19th century or after the earthquakes of 1811. YYY
