| General Note |
- General note - Another photo of the church and to its right the three-level bell tower. The Franciscan friars Juan del Sacramento and Jose de la Virgen built the original church of brick and stones shortly after the parish was established, while another Franciscan, Fray Santiago de San Pedro de Alcantara, continued the construction in 1730. Ten years later, both the church and the convent were burned and subsequently reconstructed, of similar materials by Fray Francisco de los Santos that same year (1740). YYY
