| General Note |
- General note - The original church of Minalabac was made of bamboo and nipa thatching, erected shortly after the parish was established in 1583. The town itself was founded three years earlier. The second church, made of stone foundations and wooden walls, was erected when the townsite was transferred from its original location at sitio Inguinan; this, however, was burned in 1732. Two years later a new stone church was built under the direction of Fray Fernando de Talavera, but this, too, was burned in 1831, together with the parochial house and a great part of the town. Both buildings were reconstructed during the subsequent years with Frs. Francisco Molinero and Juan de Toledo supervising. YYY
