- General note - Detail of the limestone foundation laid by Father Dionicio Pueyo in 1892; measures 220 feet long and 92 feet wide, of volcanic stone. Pueyo supervised local stone masons in its construction, working on a blueprint prepared by government architects in Manila. Work was completed in 1898. The stone foundation was retained when the church was reconstructed in 1936. (also see CH00396) YYY
