General Note
  • General note - General Trias, formerly called San Francisco de Malabon, was founded in 1748 at the request of the Countess of Lizarraga, Doña Maria Josefa Yrzarri y Ursua. The parish was created by royal cedula on September 9, 1753. Chinese writings found on the floor below the main entrance and stylized clouds on the cornices suggest Chinese influence in the church''s construction.
