General Note |
- General note - This church was built in 1836. With twin bell towers, it is Romanesque in architecture and features the use of the round arch, rectangular piers with engaged shafts and an arcade. Church records state that the sea resort town of Talisay was founded in 1886 by Pedro Labuca who became its first capitan. Talisay is a tree common around the town proper, especially in the vicinity of the church. It was originally under the parish of San Nicolas, Cebu City. YYY
