| General Note |
- General note - Arresting feature of the parish cemetery is the Gothic-inspired, octagonal ermita with a red-painted dome. The mortuary chapel is reached by a flight of limestone stairs (some 15 steps wide) flanked by thick walls of coral blocks quarried from the reefs along the shored to San Joaquin. One of these walls, which used to be decorated with a few images of saints in niches, is shown at the right. (also see CH00620) YYY
