| General Note |
- General note - Neo-classical church of Santa Barbara, built by Fr. Francisco Agueria in 1849 and completed in 1855 by Fr. Mateo Rodriguez. Decorating the otherwise flat surface of the facade are several pairs of pilasters, niches, windows and the insignia of the Augustinian vicarage of Jaro in symmetrical arrangement. Santa Barbara was originally called Catmon, an annex of Jaro until 1761 when it became an independent parish. During the revolution in 1898, the Vincentian Fathers and the Daughters of Charity were evacuated to this place when the Seminary of Jaro was occupied by the rebels and subsequently by the Americans.
