| General Note |
- General note - The church in Passi, which is distinguished by massive buttresses along the side walls and in front, is made of limestone blocks. Fr. Pedro Ceberio, parish priest from 1856 to 1877, constructed it while the timber convent was built by Fr. Crescencio Bravo. The town was established in 1584 and the parish in 1593. It is Iloilo''s sugar center and found here are the province''s two largest sugar centrals. YYY
