- General note - Church of the former visita of Bae, Laguna. In 1595, a Franciscan missionary built a hospital of bamboo and nipa near the shores of the lake. It served as a church since 1613 but was burned on April 17, 1727. Present stone church was built with a nipa roof in 1790 by Fr. Domingo Mateo. Tiles replaced the roofing in 1851. YYY
