- General note - This church situated at the corner of Solana and Potenciana streets in Intramuros, was completed in the 1750''s under the supervision of Fr. Sebastian de Totanes, provincial of the Franciscans. Following the earthquakes of 1824 and 1839, subsequent reconstructions were made, the last one having been supervised by Fray Vicente Ingles. It was finally destroyed along with other churches in Intramuros during the liberation in 1945. Building at right was the chapel of the Third Order of the Franciscans. (also see CH00751) YYY
