  • General note - The ruins of the first stone church of Gasan, which was built by the Jesuits in the 18th century. The church was destroyed during World War II and was reconstructed shortly after the war.The Jesuits came in 1621 when Marinduque was then under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila.
